Happy New Year 2019



Pakistan is Islamic country and it come exit into 14 august 1947. Pakistan is now is independence country and many religious live in Pakistan.
Many year has passed and passing year. But New Year many people celebrate according to their culture and religious. Because in Pakistan live diverse communities. Every New Year’s Day is celebrated on 1st January according to Gregorian calendar.
Every Pakistani welcomes the New Year. On this occasion every Pakistani celebrates the New Year day by festivals. Some Pakistani prays for whole Pakistan and prays for progress of their country. I already told that Pakistan is Islamic country and follow the Islamic calendar but Islamic calendar is different from Gregorian calendar because Islamic calendar is start on 1st Muharram ul haram and Gregorian calendar is start on 1st January.
Islamic New Year starts with special prayers and sermons in mosque for peace, stability and prosperity in country.
There is no restriction for other religious and other minorities celebrate their new year’s day with zest.
On the other hand both government and non government organizations celebrate New Year by enjoying dinners, parties and musical night.
Fire work and pyrotechnic shows also spread the different colour on night sky on new year’s day. It very amazing and wonderful scene and many Pakistanis enjoye it.
Television and radio stations special prepare the new year programme.
Different articles published on newspapers and magazines on this occasion.
When Islam came to introduction of various element of the Islamic culture including the Islamic calendar and Hijri calendar which became the official calendar of subcontinent.

Other religious calendar like Hindu and sikh calendar may have been prevalent at the time in certain region. Mugals ruled the subcontinent for more than 300 year. During the reign of the emporair Akbar, Hijri calendar was replaced by solar calendar that is called Bangla calendar and still use in Bangladesh.
After the independence of Pakistan the adopted the Gregorain calendar as the official calendar.




Symbols:

There is no specific symbol for the New Year’s Day in Pakistan. But it is also called the Nawrooz meaning new dawn. There is doing more enjoyment at the occasion of New Year’s Day. Enjoyment taking place by firework, fire round in air and beating of drum. Lighting the lamp in air show that the symbols of New Year in Pakistan.
Pakistan is geographical large country; different region and culture are present in Pakistan. New Year is celebrated in different provinces and different regions of Pakistan. At the occasion of New Year there is harvesting the crops of grapes and walnuts.
In the other words it is the time of Mela Charaghan and Basant and many people visit the mosque and say prayers. Prayed to Allah and confer them with peaceful and contended time ahead.




In the major city like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad has exhilarating celebration. Mostly people are engaged in the shopping of new clothes and new household materials. Women clean their houses and prepare the special dishes for their family members, friends and relative visiting house at that day.
The moment of arrival of New Year in Pakistan is extremely unique and different from other country. When the clock ringing twelve people celebrating on the street fire in air to mark their grant welcome for New Year. Live concerts which help to forget the past troubles and moves ahead to new time with smile and cheers all around.
At the occasion of new year it is time of optimism and hope for better, peaceful and more stable future.
Resolution are made, new aspiration are born and goals are decided for coming time.
